B.A LL.B. 5 years integrated degree course (10 semesters)
The applicant should have passed 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream. Should have secured minimum 45% of marks in case of general categories of applicants and 40% marks in case of SC/ST applicants. Maximum age for seeking admission to this course is twenty years in case of General Category of applicants and twenty two years in case of applicants from SC/ST/OBC. Such age shall be counted on the 1st July of academic year of the admission. Only high school certificate will be considered for age proof and no other documents will be taken into consideration for age proof.
Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline with min 50% marks (Reserve Candidate 45%) for SC/ST.

LL.B.: 3 Years Course (6 semesters)
In India, legal education has been traditionally offered as a three-year graduate degree conferring the title of LL.B. (Bachelor of Laws) or B.L. (Bachelor of Laws). However the legal education system was revised by the Bar Council of India, the governing body of legal education in India. Both the types of degrees (i.e., three-year and five-year integrated honours) are recognized and are also qualifying degrees for practice of legal profession in India. A holder of either type of degree may approach a Bar Council of any States of India and get upon compliance with the necessary standards, be enrolled on the rolls of the said Bar Council. The process of enrolment confers a licence to the holder to practise before any court in India and give legal advice. The entire procedure of enrolment and post-enrolment professional conduct is regulated and supervised by the Bar Council of India.

BBA.LL.B 5 years Integrated Degree Program (10 semesters)
BBA.LL.B provides an integrated understanding of the inter relation of management studies and law in their entirety than in specified areas. Allied subjects offered under this course are Business Economics, Principles & Practices of Management, Financial Management, Marketing Management, Financial Accounting, Organizational Behaviour, Corporate Planning & Project Management, Human Resource Management, Statistics, International Business, Business Environment. Study of these subjects will enable the students to develop a comprehensive understanding and help in taking them to the zenith of their career.

Eligibility: 10+2 in any discipline with min 50% marks(Reserve Candidate 45%) for SC/ST.
LL.M: 1 year Course (2 semesters)
LL.M. degree prepares the students for a satisfying career in various branches of law, such as law officers, legal advisors, law professionals having independent set-up. LL.M. degree also qualifies a person for teaching in a law school and university. They can also take judicial service examination and become judges. There is no dearth of career opportunities for LL.M. degree holders.

Any other modification in eligibility criteria will be considered, if recommended by the Academic Council (AC) of UTU and UGC. After result of RET is declared, the merit list of the successful candidates shall be prepared based upon the available vacancies taking into consideration the reservation policy.

P.G. Diploma (One Year)
The One Year P.G.Diploma Programme shall be divided into 2 semesters. Following course of study is based on the recommendations and revised guidelines of the Curriculum Development Committee of the Bar Council of India.

Library timings will be from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., but issue/return of books timing will be from 9:30a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
A Book will be issued for 15 days only. However, issued books may be recalled earlier, if urgently required by the Library. Maximum number of Books that can be issued to a UG Student is 2 and to PG Student are 2. Periodicals and Reference Books will not be issued and may be consulted only in the Library. A Book must be returned in the same condition in which it was issued. In case an issued Book is not returned on time, a fine of Rs. 5/- per day will be charged up to 15 days. After this period, a fine of Rs. 10/- per day will be charged for the next 15 days. If the book is still not returned, double the cost of the latest edition of the book will be charged. No book in exchange will be accepted.


SLC has an active training and placement cell which invites experts from the industry to deliver lectures and conduct placement talks with the students. Regular personality development sessions are conducted for the students to tone up their language and presentation skills. The students regularly visit the corporate companies of the region. We try to inculcate the spirit of entrepreneurship in our students.

SLC has a dedicated placement cell to co-ordinate all placement related activities. A core group of faculty members under the guidance of the placement officers of SGI program are usually involved in the entire placements process and co-ordinate the industrial training as well as campus interviews.
