Chief Justice Naresh Harishchandra Patil Born on 7th April 1957. Alumnus of Government Law College, Mumbai. Graduated in Law in the year 1979 from Bombay University. After enrolment with the Bar Council of Maharashtra & Goa, initially started practice in the chamber of his father & renowned criminal lawyer Shri Harishchandra V. Patil. Thereafter, practiced in the High Court of Bombay, Aurangabad Bench since its establishment on Constitutional, Civil and Criminal Sides. His Lordship was appointed Additional Standing Counsel for Union of India. His Lordship was Counsel for various Statutory and Local Bodies and Maharashtra State Election Commission in the High Court. Elevated as Additional Judge of Bombay High Court on 12th October 2001 and appointed as permanent Judge on 3rdOctober 2004. His Lordship Was associated with mediation movement as Chairman of the Main Mediation Committee of the High Court of Bombay.
Appointed as Acting Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on 13thAugust 2018. Appointed as the Chief Justice of the Bombay High Court on 29thOctober 2018.
