FEEDBACK - From Lt Col (Er) S. Kaul

"Given an opportunity, I would like to write thesis on ' Lawyers Update' , its importance and need, not only for lawyers, and law students but also for the general public, particularly in the present day scenario, wherein crime rate is not only increasing, but is also becoming heinous and gruesome in nature day by day inflicting horrendous and traumatic impact on the psychology and life of a victim.

I just happened to find an old copy of the ' Lawyers Update ' pertaining to the month of June, 2011, lying with me since then and was enlightened to read again (afresh) the cover story on 'Castration For Sexual Predators?' The story written then carries number of suggestions of tremendous value for implementation and promulgation. However, had something been done to implement the suggestion made therein by Inspector Surinder Jeet Kaur, SHO, Police Station Kamla Market, Delhi, the situation would have been different today and may be 'Nirbhaya' would not have happened.

They say 'Justice delayed is Justice denied', is what has been proved in this article carried in by your esteemed monthly Update. Keep it up, such inputs are eye openers and may help many in many ways.

Lawyers update is thus need of the hour!"

Lt Col (Er) S. Kaul
